Pay-per-view by SMS

As most readers are reluctant to log in their credit card numbers online, Swiss daily newspaper, Le Temps, offers it's readers a pay-per-view by SMS. To consult an article, subscribers need only to send an SMS to a number featured on the page and receive in return an access code to consult the article. This "premium service", of Sfr 2.50 ($1.90), is charged directly to their phone bill.
