Text service to catch a killer

Detectives investigating the murder of Dawn Walker have set up a special hotline allowing witnesses to text with potentially-vital information, reports The Evening Star.

"Police introduced the text messaging service yesterday – the first time it has been used in a Suffolk murder inquiry – as they stepped up their inquiries into the death of the 37-year-old fitness fanatic, whose semi-naked and charred remains were found close to the River Lark, near Fornham Park.

"We hope that the text service will make it even easier for people to report information to us".
