2 red phone-inspired artefacts

psilence1[1].jpgSilence is an easy chair designed in 2002 by Antti Evävaara "for the undisturbed use of your mobile phone."
The side panes are transparent, but the user's privacy is respected as the sound enters and leaves the "phone box" reduced (via angermann2.)

I can't resist the temptation to add another red phone-inspired amusing object: The Uncle Phone prototype that Aparna Rao invented for her uncle who always asks other people to do things for him, such as dialing the number on a landline telephone. "This two meter long phone was made to express the unique way that my uncle uses a regular telephone; it requires two people to operate- one to dial and another to speak".
