Staying well connected in jail

All it takes is a smuggled cell phone or a friendly warden for gangsters lodged in jails to continue with their criminal activities, reports the Dehli Newsline.

Recently a mafia don in the Kolkata prison of New Delhi, planned the killing of Delhi Police officers by communicating with his partners in Dubai via text messaging.

‘‘Most of the big gangsters currently in jail use the mobile phone to plan and execute their operations outside" according to a senior police official.
