Ringtones Used in Promotion for New CD

Select tracks from pop star Rihanna's new CD, A Girl Like Me, will be offered as downloads to fans wireless handsets, reports Cablecaster magazine.

"Fans are given immediate access to the latest Rihanna TrueTones by texting a code found inside the CD, or going online.

Much Music was first inCanada to partner with a music label on a major CD release to drive ringtone sales and improve downloading usability, the specialty service describes."
