Skype dabbling in music downloads
Skype struck a deal Tuesday that will bring the sounds of Madonna and potentially thousands of other artists as ringtones to people who use the company's Internet phone-calling software. [via the Mercury News]
"Ringtone versions of songs from the entire EMI Music Publishing library -- including titles from Green Day, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Isley Brothers -- will be available for download from the Personalise Skype store starting today."
