Vodafone Branded Guitars
In another sign of Vodafone's commitment to mobile music, the wireless operator is sponsoring the Rock in Rio - Lisbon Festival, and plans to install three countdown displays in the form of 'giant guitars' at a number of sites in Lisbon, according to Cellular News.
Each of the displays weighs 9 tonnes and is 7 metres tall and 3 metres wide, and displays the number of days before the Festival starts.
Through sponsorship of this event, which fits perfectly into the brand's publicity and positioning strategy, Vodafone is repeating its association with the most important music event in Portugal in 2006."
