Madonna to promote iPod phone
Motorola and Apple have hired a host of music stars, including Madonna and Iggy Pop, to promote their iPod mobile phone, according to a source close to the project, reports Netimperative.
The news was broken by analyst Roger Entner who said he had been briefed about the device and the partners producing it.
The ad will see a number of musicians squeezed into a phone box, to promote Motorola's phone with built in iPod.
According to a report in The Sun, Motorola intends to have musicians from every generation appear in the ads, created by media firm Ogilvy & Mather.
The firm is reportedly in negotiations with The White Stripes, Alanis Morissette and The Bravery to appear in the ad."
