'SCHNAPPI' SET TO RIVAL SUCCESS OF 'CRAZY FROG'

schnappi2.gifIt seemed for a while that the success of Jamster's "Crazy Frog" would never end. The furor has diminished a little but now the next mobile phenomenon is on the way, thanks to Joy from Germany, reports IT News.

Joy has created a chart topping crocodile, Schnappi, that even managed to knock Robbie Williams from top spot in Germany. Joy sings the song and her voice has apparently captured the hearts of most of Europe.

The song features as a mono, poly, realtone and video ringtone. After the chart success in Germany and indeed the success of the Crazy Frog, Jamster! is hoping that the reptile can reproduce chart success in the UK. The song will be released as a single on the 29th August by Universal Records.
