CokeTunes

coketunes_open.gif Loudeye announced today that it has teamed up with Satellite Interactive to launch "CokeTunes" - a Coca-Cola branded digital music service for the New Zealand market.

For the first time, music from major label artists can be downloaded from the internet legally after previewing free 30 second track samples... Currently loaded with 570,000 songs, the site requires Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer. However this announcement has an interesting and compelling twist - the softdrink maker is generously donating proceeds from every track sold to a Music Fund that will make grants to young musicians...
