T-Mobile launches Street gigs

London and Birmingham is to have a series of a series of street gigs this summer organised by T-mobile with the invites going out by SMS only a couple of hours beforehand.

The text and picture message invitations are being sent only 90 minutes before the acts play with details of the secret gig location. Wannabee gig goers can also sign-up online to register their interest at www.t-mobile.co.uk/street.

The whole event, including set up and take down, will last just two hours, demonstrating the ‘blink-and-you'll-miss-it' nature of Street Gigs.
