Ringtones express widespread disgust over (Ms Arroyo's) obvious poll fraud
The text messaging advocacy group TXTtpower.org has uploaded on its website two sound files of excerpts of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's alleged "Hello Garci" conversation purportedly with Comelec Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano, which can be downloaded either on computers or on cellular phones. "The sound files can be downloaded for free from http://txtpower.org. They can either be used as ringtones or message receipt tones on mobile phones or as audio effects on personal computers.
"The ringtones express the widespread disgust over (Ms Arroyo's) obvious poll fraud. She should fear an entire nation mocking her through ringtones and text jokes," Anthony Cruz, one of the officials of TxtPower, said Friday.
"We view this as a perfectly legal expression of views," Cruz said.
