iTunes mobile phone streaming arrives

dittybotlogo.gif Some inventive developers have figured out how to stream songs from iTunes to a mobile phone wirelessly, reports MacWorld.

A script called DittyBot cleverly combines mobile email and Skype's voice over IP phone calls.

"Using your phone, email the title/artist info for a song in your iTunes library to DittyBot, which is running on your Mac, pulling down mail every minute. DittyBot receives the request, calls you with Skype, and plays the song back to you over VoIOP using iTunes," the report explains."

The script is in fact an Apple Automator Workflow
