BILLBOARD and CTIA Partner For MECCA 2005

test_logoA.gif Billboard, the world's most trusted source of music, video and digital entertainment news, charts, reviews and analysis, announced today a multi-year partnership with CTIA-The Wireless Association to serve as the exclusive content provider for the digital and mobile entertainment track for both fall and spring shows - September 26-29, 2005.

MECCA 2005 is the latest initiative showing Billboard's growing influence in the digital and mobile entertainment space.

In the past year Billboard has debuted the CTIA-endorsed ringtone chart, expanded industry coverage in the redesigned magazine and Billboard.biz, and began publishing a new daily digital entertainment blog, Billboard PostPlay.

Next month, Billboard will launch a global mobile application featuring ringtones, news, charts and artist information. [Press release]
