Pubs to cash in on mobile phone top-ups

pub_texting_opt.jpg More UK pubs are to be given the chance to sell mobile phone top-ups – and earn commission on every sale, reports The Publican.

"Inspired Broadcast Networks (IBN) is trialling the new service on 50 of its itbox entertainment terminals across the country. If customer demand is proven, full roll-out across 7,000 terminals, with most of them sited in pubs, is expected to follow shortly.

Other services due to be added to itboxes in the coming months included ringtones, logos and video messages for mobile phones, as well as concert ticket sales and music downloads."
