Companies reject Japanese regulator's warning

Four Japanese record label and software companies said they had rejected an order by Japan's anti-monopoly regulator to stop trying to dominate the domestic market in mobile phone ringtones, according to the Associated Press.

"In a statement posted on its Web site Monday, Sony Music Entertainment said the commission's ruling that the companies had colluded was "not true" and that the company had decided to appeal the decision."
