According to Mike Grenville for 160characters.org, as well as music chart hits, Christmas Season selections proved popular during December with:

-- Mariah Carey's ‘All I Want For Christmas',

-- ‘Jingle Bells', ‘Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer'

-- the ‘Fairytale of New York' by The Pogues and Kirsty McColl

All hovering just outside the top ten.

It was also interesting to see both Band Aid 2000 and Band Aid 1984 competing for the top slots!
