Ring backs are music to the industry's ears

Kevin Zimmerman for The Chicago Tribune writes a general overview about the next big thing in ringtone technology, ring back tones. A tremendous success in South Korea - annual revenue is estimated at $125 million - ring back tones are expected to reach the US later this year.

I picked something in this article I had not read before, "ring back applications are also not limited to mobile phones--they can be employed for wired phones as well". Interesting.
