Music recognition now available on Microsoft smartphones

phone_ani.gif Musikube, a developer of music recognition and discovery solutions, announced that its iCapture mobile music recognition and discovery solutions support Microsoft Windows Mobile software for Smartphones, according to a company press release.

In their own words, MusiKube's solutions include:

-- A Personal Music Guide (PMG), an in-store portable wireless kiosk that allows users to browse the store, scan album barcodes and listen to song samples, receive recommendations, view album art and reviews. It also allows users to bookmark their interest for future visits.

-- A Mobile Music Identification (MMID) System , which turns mobile phones into music capture and discovery devices by allowing consumers to identify a piece of music whenever they hear it.
