Ringback tones popular in Taiwan

More than 200,000 mobile phone subscribers in Taiwan signed up in the first three months to add commercial music ringback tone service to their mobile phone experience, according to Moco News.

Subscribers have now topped 500,000, creating a substantial new high margin revenue source for local operator ChungHwa Telecom.
