Koreans To Enjoy MP3 Phones Soon

These lucky Koreans...why do they get to have all the fun handsets? Samsung and LG will launch MP3 mobile phones this month in Korea, a move that is expected to spark new demand from those who want to enjoy digital music.

Samsung will introduce the Anycall SPH-V4200, a high-end folder type model that comes with the MP3 playback function, a 1.3-million-pixel digital camera, and 96-megabyte internal memory plus an external memory slot, by the end of this month.

LG said it would offer the LP3000 (some pics here), an MP3 phone that can save 16 music files with its 65-megabyte memory, to LG Telecom Co. this month. The model comes with a 1.3-million-pixel digital camera, dual flat screens, video recording of up to 80 minutes and global positioning system.
