Lord of the Ring Tones

A delightful story on British ringtone entrepreneur Alexander Amosu, founder of R 'n' B Ringtones, which enjoyed sales of about $2 million in its first year.

Even though Amosu sold 80 percent of his company last year to an undisclosed buyer, he still provides it with nearly 20,000 ring tones of all kinds. Amosu said that about 4 percent of R 'n' B Ringtones' customers are American, and that he is launching a new service in the United States, www.soulringtones.com, which should be online within a few weeks.

Amosu recently launched www.mobsvideo.com to sell 30-second video clips for cellphones.
