More Music Tones on Sprint

Sprint PCS has signed on two new music labels--Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group--for its music tones service, which offers real music clips, instead of the tinny ringtones, reports Billboard (via Reuters)

Sony music has been available for Music Tones since July, while UMG songs debuted earlier this month. WMG songs will become available within two or three months. Music Tones cost about $1.50-$2.50 per song -- considerably higher than the 99-cent-per-song downloads available through such services as Apple's iTunes.
