Nokia 3300 plays «True Tones»
Nokia has signed deal with Warner Music International to provide music on its 3300 handset to be launched initially in June in Europe. The Nokia 3300 will be the first handset able to play "True tones", real music played as ringtones.
The Nokia 3300 will be sold with a CD-Rom containing music from a selection of Warner Music artists which can be downloaded onto the handset thanks to Nokia Audio Manager software.
"For content providers, such as Warner Music, joining forces with mobile phone manufacturers and carriers presents a new, potentially lucrative market channel", according to Wireless News Factor.
