I know this sounds like old news, but it comes from the BBC and there is nothing more reliable in my books. So here goes.

"Television theme tunes were the most popular mobile phone ringtones of last year, according to a survey.

The chart is based on information given by 80 licensed ringtone providers to the copyright societies.
