Mobile TV Modeo to be launched at the CES

Modeo, a mobile TV company owned by Crown Castle, plans to announce on early next week that its service is live in New York city, in what the company is calling a ‘beta commercial launch’, reports GigaOM.

The service will provide TV broadcasts via DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld), an open framework which has gaining momentum as the technology for mobile media, is claimed on Modeo web site.
