Bus companies now have the alcohol level of their drivers -- and their faces
"Japan's second largest mobile operator KDDI Corporation has helped develop a combined breathalyser and telephone that will let bus and taxi companies know if their drivers can take the wheel", reports AFP.
Drivers blow into a tube on the machine, the device measures their level of intoxication and, via the phone, immediately sends to their company's computer not only the test results, but also snapshots of their faces and details of their GPS coordinate.
