MyWaves debuts 10,000 channel mobile video service
MyWaves starts making rounds of its services, launched in beta in October 2006. The service could be located between a new YouTube and iTunes for mobile videos:
"The mywaves service is comprised of a Web site together with software that can be downloaded to a mobile phone," reports SlashPhone. "The Web site allows consumers to choose and personalize their on-the-go entertainment that is automatically delivered and updated to their mobile phones. mywaves also sends text messages alerting users to content updates in their channels, letting them know when there's something new to watch."
