"America's Next Top Model" interactive TV show goes mobile
The WSJ reprots that CBS is about to introduce an interactive cellphone game based on the hit show "America's Next Top Model".
"The mobile game features animated versions of the TV show's actual contestants. Players can pick two models for the game, a favorite and least favorite, and control their virtual lives.
With a few clicks on the phone's keypad, they can dress the virtual models, known as avatars, in a variety of outfits, apply their makeup, monitor their workout routines, and take them to the beach or a local café. They can also play tricks on the unfavored model, giving her a mustache or ugly glasses.
The players gather points as their virtual models perform such tasks as walking a tightrope, posing for photo shoots or simply getting enough beauty sleep. But player beware: The avatar models also have minds of their own. If players don't take good care of them -- failing to ensure they get enough sleep, for example -- the models will complain. And players can even be "fired" by their virtual models if their scores are too low."
