Showtime Makes Leap to Mobile Video

The mobile bug has bitten Showtime Networks. The company announced plans to introduce an off-deck WAP portal that will give wireless users access to Showtime content for the first time, according to Wireless Week.

"The WAP portal will enable instant delivery of Showtime programming to wireless devices, including programs such as "Dexter," "Weeds," "The Underground," "Sleeper Cell," "The L Word" and Showtime Championship Boxing."
