Galvaphone Project
With Galvaphone, you can send your current emotion and galvanic skin response to the person you are about to call. An MIT Media Lab project by Rachel Kern.
"Want to make a phone call? First, strap on your galvactivator, and describe how you are feeling at the moment.
Send your current emotion and galvanic skin response to the person you are about to call. Your potential call recipient can then use this information to decide if he or she wants to accept a phone call from you at that particular moment. Don't waste any more time calling people who don't want to hear from you in your current affective state!"
Click here to see how it works.
Galaphone was inspired by another of Racher Kern's project, written up in 2005, the Emotophone,
