Camera phone photo of New York subway employee prompts investigation
A subway rider who took a picture of sleeping work station agent sent it to The New York Post, who published it. [via Alan Reiter's Camera Phone Report]
"Kevin Wilson, 43, who was caught sleeping with his shoes off just after 2 a.m. at the Bay Ridge Avenue station on the R line. ... Transit officials said they are probing Wilson's case, adding they do not tolerate sleeping on the job."
What an awufl thing to have done, e-mailing a picture of someone slacking off on the job - to the New York Post! Causing not only huge embarrasment for the employee but potentially causing him to lose his job. If he presented a security risk for the subway, the cameraphone citizen should just have informed subway officials. Or better, gently woken him up. Sending such a picture to a newspaper is despicable behaviour.
