New Award Celebrates Citizen Journalism
Nokia and Press Gazette, the organisers of the Bitish Press Awards, have announced the creation of a new award, which will recognise and celebrate the growing phenomenon of citizen journalism. What Cellphone reports.
"The Nokia Citizen Journalism Awards are open to any member of the public that has had a photo or video clip published or used by a newspaper, magazine, broadcast service, internet news service, blog or photo sharing website in the last 12 months.
Entries can be submitted on the competition website at www.citizenjournalismawards.co.uk and will be judged by a distinguished industry panel. The deadline for entries is June 30th".
