Vodafone floats curfew on adult shows

Vodafone is proposing to broadcast video clips with restricted content to mobile phones only after a "watershed" time, similar to that which applies to free-to-air TV, where restricted content is only shown after 8.30pm on school nights and later on weekends. Stuff reports.

"Under the mobile content code, restricted content could include sex scenes, nudity, violence, and offensive language.

The proposal would mean Vodafone would be able to stream such content at night without requiring age verification"
