Softhouse - a Swedish mobile multimedia software house - today announced a new mobile application Painter(TM), enabling mobile phone users get their own portrait in the style of one of the great masters. [Press Release]

Based on image-processing technology the application converts a portrait-photo taken with a camera phone into a morph sequence showing the transformation from an ordinary snap to a painting in the style of Botticelli, Picasso, Rembrandt or other great painters.
