Samsung to Launch Large-Memory Multimedia Phones
Digital Chosunilbo reports that according to an industry insider, Samsung will release several multimedia phones with nearly double the currently available memory size this year.
"The storage of Samsung's SPH-V7900 for KTF has grown from 1.5GB to 3GB -- the biggest in its league and six times more than the 512 MB of standard MP3 players, allowing users to store up to 700 tunes.
The phone supports media formats such as MPEG4, MP3, AAC, and access to online video services. An MP3 caption function lets customers see the lyrics while listening to songs, and built-in dual speakers provide quality sound. File viewer, 2-mega-pixel digital camera with 2x optical zoom, a 2.2-inch LCD screen, a folder that spins 90 degrees, and PC link with USB 2.0 complete the package..."
