Gandhi's lifestory on mobile phones
Mahatma Gandhi's lifestory on mobile phones and a global peace march led by former world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield will be part of celebrations for the 136th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation October 2nd, reports NewKerala.
According to Outlook India, "a video film showcasing excerpts from Gandhi's life was launched on Reliance India Mobile's `R World' facility today on the eve of the Mahatma's birth anniversary.
The mobile service users can also participate in an interactive quiz about Gandhi on their phones.
"This is an effort to take the message of Mahatma to the masses. With the application activated from today, about nine million subscribers could get access Bapu's life history on mobile and enhance their knowledge about the great soul," said Anjali Kumar from Reliance Infocomm.
The Gandhi quiz segment in the film has about 300 questions on the personal and political life of Bapu.
