Mobile phone video rapist jailed

A rapist who used his mobile phone to record himself performing a sex act on a 19-year-old woman in Greater Manchester has been jailed for 14 years, reports the BBC.

"Jon Leaver, 23, of Mayfield Street, Atherton, planned to send the phone images to his friends but was unaware he was being filmed by CCTV cameras.

Liverpool Crown Court heard Leaver broke his victim's jaw in two places. He was convicted of rape and grievous bodily harm in August."
