Mobile phones next frontier for porn purveyors
Moco News writes about The Globe and Technology's "fairly sensationalist article warning of an invastion of mobile pornography… to set the tone it starts “Obscene phone calls are about to become a growth market”.
There are some good points though… for example one owner of a chain of 91 adult video stores closed all but 10 of them to gear up for mobile adult content. “It's certainly coming, and we'll be there,” Mr. Jorgensen said. “The storefront retail market is dead and dying, as content is available by digital streaming,” he adds. “We're in talks with carriers, and we have a library of material ready.”
The article also mentions, Voooyeur.com. This is a user-generated adult site, where people send in their own pictures to possibly win 250 EURO for sending in the most voted picture of the month...
