China: Free porn to boost sales of multimedia phones

According to interfax China, a number of mobile phone retailers in Bengbu, a city in eastern China's Anhui Province, are offering free pornographic video clips in order to boost sales of multimedia mobile handsets.

"Local police said such marketing methods were a new phenomenon and that it was difficult to discover and collect adequate evidence for prosecuting such cases".
