Life through a celebrity mobile phone lens to be auctioned for charity

generateImageFromDatabase.jpeg A collection of photographs, taken by British celebrities on their mobile phones, will be put up for sale on ebay tomorrow, reports the The Independent.

"The 13 images, taken by well-known names including the artist Sam Taylor-Wood and actress Minnie Driver, will be sold for charity to the highest bidders.

Each of the five contributors to Mobile Moments Camera Phone Exhibition - who also include legendary fashion photographer Nick Knight, Thunderbirds actress Sophia Myles and renowned lifestyle photographer Gavin Bond - were asked to capture a spontaneous "mobile moment" for the project. Most of them submitted more than one image, and Driver donated the most with four.

The project's sponsors, Hewlett Packard, said the finished collection, some of which are published exclusively in The Independent on Sunday today, was "a thoughtful, imaginative and sometimes funny look at what makes the world tick".
