Treo photos of the Malaysian haze

haze2.jpg The Government of Malaysia has declared a state of emergency in certain parts of the Klang Valley, due to extremely bad air quality caused by massive forest fires in Sumatra, Indonesia, reports Azizi Jennis on his blog Treo Today.

The API (Air Pollution Index) has gone above 500 points in some areas around Kuala Lumpur (400 is considered “Hazardous”).

Azizi managed to capture some photos today of the hazy condition in Kuala Lumpur, using his Palm Treo 650 smartphone. More cameraphone shots on his blog as well as on Flickr.
