YooMedia and 3 launch mobile video dating

YooMedia has launched what it claims is the UK's first mobile phone video dating service, writes New Media Age.

The Dateline 3G service, in association with network operator 3, allows users to sign-up, create a profile and review prospective partners via video clips sent directly to their mobile phone.

"The mobile phone is the obvious device for people interested in dating, and the video clips really make the experience work," said Neil MacDonald, from YooMedia.

The service will be available from today to 3's entire customer base of 3.2m subscribers across the UK.
