Nokia Shorts 2005
Time to get our your cameraphone and start filing for the 2005 Nokia Shorts competition. With a deadline of 15th August, the aim of the 15 second film competition is to encourage the development of material designed specifically for the phone.
Since the original launch of Nokia Shorts, video capabilities of mobile phones have developed apace. The latest Nokia camera device, the Nokia N90, (picture left) features Carl Zeiss optics and the ability to record video at VHS quality. To reflect these developments, this year's Nokia Shorts includes a category for films made and edited entirely on a mobile handset.
Nokia Shorts is a collaboration between Nokia and Raindance, an organisation dedicated to fostering and promoting independent film in the UK.
