Lastminute launches MMS postcard service
Lastminute.com has launched a mobile postcard service in partnership with MMS photo messaging company Mobycards to enable holiday makers to send personalised postcards using their camera phones, announces Netimperative.
Travellers can take a picture with their phone and send it, along with their personal message and the mailing address, to a designated number. The personalised lastminute.com branded postcard is then delivered to the recipient anywhere in the UK.
The service costs £2.50 per card including all printing and postage costs, plus standard operator rates for sending an MMS message. Charges will be applied direct to consumers' mobile phone bills.
