Girl raped in 'happy slap' attack

In a horrifying escalation of what is an already appaling fad, an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two teenage boys during a 'happy slapping' attack, reports Ananova.

"The boys are believed to have filmed the incident on a mobile phone before sending it to schoolmates.

A source at the school in north London told the the Daily Mail the clip spread like "wildfire" among pupils before staff recognised the girl and reported the incident to police.

A spokeswoman for Scotland Yard said three 14-year-old boys had been arrested in connection with the attack.

The craze of "happy slapping" typically involves criminals using mobile phones to take pictures of victims they have punched or kicked, and then swapping the images with friends."
