Sort Your Japanese Snapshots by Satellite Photo Proximity
The latest in a succession of geographic-sorted image databases, DUOSNAP allows you to sort through photos by choosing increasingly specific sectors of Japan, reports Archinext.
According to Ore no Buloggu, "Kentaro and Tozaki have launched DUOSNAP a couple of days ago, which is based on Tokyo Pictoresque, a site that maps photos submitted via GPS enabled mobile phones to a satelite snapshot of Tokyo.
Most of the keitais (mobile phone in Japanese) built for the AU network have built in GPS functionality that users can use for location based services. A feature that's built into these gadgets is to attach GPS coordinates to photos you take with your keitai."
