Customers classified into moon, earth and sun

California-no-yopparai claims that this department store in Shanghai is using RFID tags to classify customers into moon, earth and sun types, reports Shin'ichi Konomi for RFID in Japan.

"If I understood correctly, these types represent personality traits of shoppers. California-no-yopparai says: "for example, sun represents brand-conscious, authoritarian customers. Hence a store manager comes to greet them and shows them brand goods", writes Shin'ichi Konomi.
