UAE: Teenagers jailed for texting Indecent Images

Reminsicent of the scandal that rocked India in December (poor kids), two teenagers have been jailed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for sending each other indecent images using their mobile phones, reports Adnkronos International.

"The 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old girl - who are both UAE nationals - were each given a one month prison sentence, the Emirates-based newspaper Gulf News reports. The two were charged with exchanging indecent pictures and sending pornographic photographs via email.

The authorities were tipped off that the two were sending each other indecent material by a friend of the girl, who was jealous of the relationship she had with the 17-year-old."
