Thugs film girl attack on phone

A gang of 20 thugs took photographs of a 13-year-old girl with their mobile phones as she was punched and kicked at a bus stop, reports the UK The Daily Mirror.

"Rose was with her 12-year-old cousin and two classmates in Hyde Park, Leeds. She was treated for bruised ribs in hospital.

Police fear the attack is linked to an internet craze where people are assaulted and filmed on mobiles (cf related stories on "Happy Slapping").
